Judge halts construction on Trump’s ballroom — for now
President Donald Trump’s big ballroom project is on pause — for now.
He faced a major setback on Tuesday when a federal judge ordered that construction could not begin on the White House ballroom that he’s been eager to build.
Judge Richard Leon wrote that the “president of the United States is the steward of the White House for future generations of first families. He is not, however, the owner!”
