Judge extends White House access for 3 news outlets
A federal judge briefly extended White House access for three news outlets until a final ruling on President Donald Trump’s press ban is reached.
Attorneys for CNN, MS NOW, and Politico returned to court Thursday as the judge’s initial restraining order against the ban was set to expire.
The president barred the three organizations last month, complaining that their coverage was unfavorable to his administration.
Outside the courthouse Thursday, a lawyer for the outlets said he expects a ruling by next week.
