When a powerful earthquake hit Kumamoto in Japan, Tomoko Takaoka’s Chihuahua ‘Ku’ and Chihuahua-poodle mix ‘Sheri’ needed a temporary home. Social media led her to an animal hospital that welcomes evacuees and their pets.
