Israeli forces intercepted a Gaza-bound aid flotilla in international waters after it sailed from Turkey.
Organizers said around 50 vessels were carrying humanitarian aid and accused Israel of violating international maritime law.
Israel said the blockade was necessary to prevent support for Hamas and denied claims that Gaza was facing aid shortages.
