Is This The End of the Bitcoin Rally?
Two headlines made it look like Bitcoin was being dumped. Half a billion dollars left the spot ETFs in a day, the biggest exit since June. Then government wallets sent 9,261 Bitcoin to Coinbase Prime.
Neither one was a sale. Coinbase Prime has custodied seized coins for the US Marshals since 2024, and a 2025 executive order says forfeited Bitcoin goes into the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve rather than to market.
Scott Melker’s point is that the flows people fear are usually plumbing.
He also covers Samsung putting USDC on 82 million Galaxy phones, Securitize launching tokenized Apple and Nvidia, and an Ethereum researcher telling holders to prepare for bunker mode.
