Ireland’s Martin Says Russia Is Becoming More Reckless
Russia’s aggression is becoming an existential threat for the eastern members of the European Union, Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin said, as he condemned a drone attack in Germany that’s been blamed on Russia. “Russia is aggressive. And as we see in Leipzig, to a degree, very reckless as well now,” Martin told Bloomberg’s Jennifer Duggan during an interview in Dublin. “And becoming more reckless in terms of what it’s looking at endeavoring to do on the side of European member states. This is a particular reality that we cannot ignore.”
