Intel, Amazon Earnings Spark Tech Selloff as AI Fears Mount

Tech stocks sold off for a second consecutive day as a rotation out of the AI trade accelerated, after earnings from Amazon and Intel raised fresh concerns about capital expenditure.
Binance has suffered the crypto industry’s biggest-ever hack in a fresh blow to efforts to push digital assets into the mainstream. The exchange said $6.3 billion worth of funds were affected, with $3 billion in crypto frozen, and that it had suspended all withdrawals as it works with law enforcement and completes a security revamp.
And France unexpectedly contracted in the third quarter, putting the economy on a weak footing as it faces headwinds from surging borrowing costs, violent protests and political and budgetary uncertainty.
