This morning, Meta just announced it will invest $1 billion in U.S. cities where it operates AI data centers. This comes as some communities rally against the projects, citing concerns about electricity use and water consumption. But in one Utah town, a data center –operated by Meta– has already won the support of residents by working to address their concerns and investing in the community.
