Inside India’s New Amrit Bharat Express: 780-Km Delhi-Gorakhpur Route, Fare & Timings Explained

The Railway Board has approved the regularisation of the Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express, giving eastern Uttar Pradesh a new direct and affordable rail link to the national capital. The train will cover about 780 km in around 14 hours with stops at Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Burhwal, Sitapur, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad. Train 15095 will depart Gorakhpur at 10:45 PM, while the return service 15096 will leave Delhi at 2:00 PM. Services begin on August 27 from Gorakhpur and August 28 from Delhi. Part of a wider expansion of the Amrit Bharat network, the train primarily offers non-AC accommodation aimed at improving connectivity for mid-sized towns.
