India’s Mobile Phone Exports Rise 165-Fold in 10 Years, Govt Tells Parliament
India’s mobile phone manufacturing sector has recorded remarkable growth over the past decade. According to the government, mobile phone exports have surged 165-fold—from around ₹1,500 crore in 2014-15 to nearly ₹2.59 lakh crore in 2025-26. Domestic production has also climbed to ₹6.27 lakh crore, while electronics exports have crossed ₹4.24 lakh crore.
