Greg Abel sees big growth for utilities on data center buildouts
Data center buildouts and the demand they’re placing on energy grids are spelling big growth opportunities for utilities, Berkshire CEO Greg Abel said at the 2026 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting.
Energy demands are far short of peak load capacities, Abel said, referring to hyperscaler buildouts in Iowa.
