G7 countries will release 100 million barrels of oil, diesel
The U.S. and its G7 allies will release 100 million barrels of oil over the next four months, including “substantial amounts of diesel.”
In a statement Friday, the group said the action would start immediately as nations grapple with sky-high energy prices.
AAA said Friday that the average price for a gallon of diesel in the U.S. was $6.37, not far from recent record highs.
