From intern to owner: Gen Z journalist buys his local newspaper

As local newsrooms across the U.S. shut down, some Gen Z’ers are taking charge. Evan Newton started at The Monticello News as an intern. Three years later, he runs the newspaper as the owner, publisher and editor. He spoke with Jacob Soboroff to explain why he believes he’s up for the challenge.
