Flock Safety to cut several hundred jobs amid backlash

Where do you stand on Flock cameras? 🤔

Flock Safety now plans to let go of about 18% of its employees, roughly 270 people, as pushback from communities and lawmakers grows.

The cuts follow a voluntary separation program the AI-powered surveillance startup announced in September.

Those impacted will leave at the end of October.
