Everything we know about alleged Epstein note
A purported suicide note from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was unsealed by a federal judge Wednesday.
It was released as part of a legal case involving Epstein’s former cellmate, who shared a prison cell with Epstein while he was awaiting trial.
The note, which has not been verified, opens with, “They investigated me for a month — Found nothing!!”
The circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death, which was ruled a suicide, have been scrutinized for years, as questions persist around why Epstein was left alone in his cell the night of his death and why only one video camera was operational.
This story includes discussion of suicide. If you or someone you know needs help, the national suicide and crisis lifeline in the U.S. is available by calling or texting 988.
