Epstein survivors urge action as King Charles visits

As King Charles III visited Washington, one member of Congress met Tuesday with survivors of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., hosted a roundtable on Capitol Hill with survivors, advocates and family members of the late Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who was one of the most vocal of Epstein’s survivors and helped put a spotlight on his crimes.

Giuffre died by suicide just over a year ago.

The event coincided with Charles’ address before Congress. Charles stripped his brother, Andrew, of the title of prince and evicted him from his royal residence late last year over his ties to Epstein.

Later this week, the House Oversight Committee will begin a new round of depositions in its Epstein investigation. Those depositions will include a former boyfriend of co-conspirator Glenn Maxwell, as well as two people who socialized with Epstein, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Bill Gates.
