Dolly Parton’s estate accuses her nephew of violent threats
Dolly Parton’s estate is accusing her nephew of making violent threats as part of a growing feud involving the late country star’s legacy.
The company was granted a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver, who announced Parton’s passing in a video last month and had been in charge of her security.
He was fired earlier this month and according to court filings has been making threats against the entity that oversees Parton’s property and businesses.
Seaver has reportedly denied making any such threats, but the legal tensions provide a rare sign of unrest within the carefully-managed estate of the iconic musician and philanthropist.
