Doctor urges parents to “ignore what the president is saying” about vaccines
President Trump signed an executive order on Monday that outlined new recommendations for childhood vaccinations. The order, obtained by CBS News before signing, said it would reduce the number of recommended vaccines and encouraged parents to spread children’s shots across separate visits to the doctor. Dr. Richard Besser, a pediatrician and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, joins CBS News to discuss.
