Clancy trial holdout juror: ‘I didn’t have any doubts’ on guilt

The lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial said he “didn’t have any doubts” about her guilt in his first public comments.

Michael Desronvil said in a statement through his lawyer that based on the evidence, he “thought it was enough proof that she knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”

That contradicts the jury foreperson, who has said that Desronvil expressed doubts about Clancy’s guilt but wanted to convict her anyway.

The judge in the case declared a mistrial earlier this month. Prosecutors must now decide whether to retry Clancy in the 2023 killings of her three children.
