Carlos Alcaraz on ‘really beautiful’ rivalry with Jannik Sinner
Despite being ‘in his mind every day’, 7-time Grand Slam Champion Carlos Alcaraz has told CNN’s Amanda that his rivalry with Jannik Sinner is ‘really beautiful’ and it gives him ‘the motivation and strength to give my 100% to be a better player.’ Not since September 2023 has a Grand Slam been won by someone other than the duo – a tally that now stands at nine in a row. Alcaraz was speaking after having won the 2026 Sportsman of the Year Award at 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid.
