‘Can’t trust anything’: People in New York react to Trump’s $5K promise

Maya Eaglin spoke with people in New York and got their reactions to Trump’s promise that he would send $5,000 to “every adult citizen” in the country if the GOP holds the House and Senate come November.

Congress has not authorized Trump’s so-called dividend, and the scheme does not come with an explanation of where the money would come from.
