Canadians react to Trump threat of renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America | DW News
US President Donald Trump has floated the idea on social media to rename Lake Ontario, one of the Great Lakes bordering both Canada and the US, to Lake America. This comes as a trade war between Canada and its southern neighbor has escalated. Last year, Trump signed an executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America”.
