Burnham Faces First Labour Conference as PM
Bloomberg Daybreak Europe anchor Caroline Hepker is on Bloomberg This Weekend previewing Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s first Labour Party conference as leader, where his plans for social care, housing and other reforms face the constraints of a difficult UK fiscal outlook. Speaking with hosts David Gura and Christina Ruffini from Liverpool, Hepker says Burnham has ruled out an early election as his government prepares for a challenging budget and tries to build on an initial increase in confidence.
