Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Opposition of running away from the debate on the issue of students and stalling Parliament.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has hit back at the Opposition amid the continuing deadlock in Parliament, saying he is ready for a discussion on every issue but alleging that the Opposition is not allowing the House to function. Shah said the government has “nothing to hide” and indicated that he is prepared to answer questions on the ongoing student-protest controversy. He said he was ready to discuss the matter from 3 pm through late night and even until 3 pm the following day.
