During a tense US Senate panel questioning, attorney general nominee Todd Blanche was asked if he and Trump were friends. Blanche replied, ‘I’m his lawyer,’ before quickly correcting himself: ‘… was his lawyer. Now, I’m the deputy attorney general’.
