Blanche REFUSES to rule out post-election action by DOJ, could BLOCK election certification
Attorney General Todd Blanche is leaving open the possibility that the Justice Department could block states from certifying votes in the midterm elections. Blanche warned reporters Thursday of a hypothetical “doomsday scenario” in which the DOJ could block the certification of votes. But he added that it was not the Justice Department’s intention to interfere with the elections. Blanche said earlier this month that the DOJ plans to send 1,000 election monitors to polling places in every state on Election Day.
