BlackRock just bought $454 million of Bitcoin in a single day.


BlackRock alone put $454 million into Bitcoin ETFs today, the biggest part of a $731 million day — the largest single-day inflow since January. Six other funds bought too. This wasn’t a broad retail wave; it was one giant asset manager making an outsized bet, on top of a month of institutional buying that started with the Treasury’s bond-buyback announcement in August.

Also today: two crypto firms won preliminary approval to become actual U.S. banks, Coinbase filed to bring 24/7 trading to individual stocks, AMC’s CEO is furious at Robinhood over tokenized shares that just sent AMC’s stock up 21%, and South Korea wrote the rulebook for tokenizing its entire market.
