‘As LOW as it gets’: Trump makes new 9/11 claim in his disputed role after terror attacks


President Trump yesterday gave a new account of what he says happened in the aftermath of the September 11th terror attacks. Speaking at a ceremony honoring those killed, Trump said he went to lower Manhattan shortly after the attacks and claimed two firefighters physically carried him to safety when a nearby building appeared ready to collapse. Trump has made similar claims about his presence at ground zero for years, but there is no evidence supporting the account that firefighters carried him from the site.
