Argentina Fire LIVE: Massive Wildfire In Argentina Forces Evacuation Of Thousands|Argentina Wildfire
A large-scale wildfire continued to burn in the Puerto Patriada area in northern Argentina’s El Hoyo on Tuesday. Drought conditions and strong winds caused the fire to spread rapidly and spiral out of control, consuming vast areas of forest since it began the previous day.
Footage shows large stretches of forest being engulfed by flames, advancing uncontrollably in all directions due to strong winds.
Authorities implemented preventive evacuations, with around 7,000 people – including residents and tourists – said to be affected. Access to Puerto Patriada was also restricted for safety reasons, to facilitate emergency teams’ work and protect lives
