After midterms, will Trump or Hegseth be impeached?
If Democrats earn a majority in the House and Senate in the midterm elections, there will be “a lot of pressure on Hakeem Jeffries to open an impeachment investigation” into President Donald Trump, Puck’s Leigh Ann Caldwell says.
Caldwell also told Washington Week moderator Jeffrey Goldberg that there is “widespread belief on Capitol Hill” that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will be impeached by the Republican-majority House when Congress resumes in November. “The bigger question is what happens in the Senate.”
