In 1982, a law conference at Yale launched the conservative powerhouse the Federalist Society, and with it, a decades-long campaign to remake America’s courts. Journalist Alex Wagner talks about her new book, “The Steal,” which traces the movement to the four men who helped build it. According to Wagner, the group “changed the course of American history,” and might offer Democrats “a blueprint for action.”
