MRNA vaccine for skin cancer succeeds in clinical trial


Last year, Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. called mRNA vaccines for respiratory viruses unsafe for the public and the National Institutes of Health cut 22 programs totaling $500 million that targeted mRNA vaccine research for infectious diseases. Now, that same technology has succeeded in a clinical trial for treating skin cancer. CNN’s Meg Tirrell reports.
