Reform UK LIVE: ‘Brexit Back On The…’: Reform UK Vows No Benefits For Foreigners In Welfare Shock
Reform UK has unveiled a sweeping welfare overhaul, promising to end benefits for most foreign nationals and declaring “no British citizenship, no entitlement.” The party says long-term claimants who are fit to work could be required to complete 20 hours of community work each week or face penalties. Reform UK also says it would reopen and renegotiate the Brexit deal to change welfare arrangements for EU nationals with settled status. The party claims its proposals could save £51 billion a year, while Labour has dismissed the figures as “fantasy economics.”
