1,500 beagles rescued from life of biomedical research
After decades of breeding dogs for animal testing, Wisconsin-based Ridglan Farms agreed to release 1,500 beagles after being paid an undisclosed amount by rescue organizations Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the Center for a Humane Economy.
