‘100% loyalty or nothing’: David French on GOP turmoil
According to New York Times opinion columnist David French, Senate Republicans are frustrated after President Donald Trump endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in a runoff primary election against incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. “It’s 100% loyalty or nothing for Trump,” he explains, adding Cornyn was largely loyal to Trump but voted to certify the results of the 2020 election.
