10-year Treasury yield posts biggest monthly gain since 2022, at highest level in 24 years


The 10-year Treasury yield just climbed another 3 basis points to 5.3%, a high we haven’t seen in 24 years.

“What we are seeing here is insane,” Brian Sozzi says, adding that the cost of borrowing has now effectively surged roughly 1,500% since March 2020 when the yield bottomed out at about 0.3%.
