LIVE | Putin’s Su-35s Get Deadlier: New Footage Reveals R-77M Missile Loads To Hunt Ukrainian Jets
Newly reported footage shows Russian Su-35 fighters carrying heavier R-77M air-to-air missile loads, potentially increasing pressure on Ukrainian aircraft. Defence Security Asia described a configuration carrying four R-77Ms and cited a maximum range of around 190 kilometres under favourable conditions. The missile’s reported dual-pulse motor could improve energy later in flight. However, the footage did not establish fleet-wide deployment, confirm specific aircraft kills or reveal whether Russia could sustain these loads across prolonged operations.
