Allen Says AI Buildout Already Underway Will Continue
Allen Says AI data-center projects already underway are unlikely to be disrupted by growing political scrutiny and will bring tens of gigawatts of new compute capacity online over the next 18 months. Allen says 2027 and 2028 will see astonishing growth in AI compute capacity regardless of what happens politically, while future projects could face new requirements around tax breaks, union labor and protections against higher power bills.
