Crypto’s Biggest Week in Regulation Just Happened

Hyperliquid named Payward, Kraken’s parent, as its intended first CFTC-regulated deployer on Monday. If regulators approve it, Bitnomial would run the markets and NinjaTrader Clearing would hold client accounts, giving US traders access to perpetual futures they have been locked out of.

The same day, Ripple won final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank, which will manage the reserves behind its $2.5 billion RLUSD stablecoin.

Scott Melker also covers BlackRock testing a yen stablecoin in Japan, Binance filing for a Brazilian licence, and Canada copying the GENIUS Act.
