The 10-year fell below 5% because AI sold off, plus an AI bear in studio | The 8:30
The 10-year Treasury yield closed just below 5% on Thursday, down almost 20 basis points to its lowest since mid-September, as money came out of AI stocks and went looking for safety. That inverts the relationship that held for most of October, when yields at quarter-century highs were the thing pressuring tech. Ed Zitron, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EZPR and host of the Better Offline podcast, joins in studio on the AI investment cycle and the debt behind it. Plus SpaceX in talks for 80,000 cell sites.
The 8:30 is live weekdays 8:30-9:30am ET with Yahoo Finance Host Julie Hyman, Breaking Business News Reporter Jake Conley and Senior Autos Reporter Pras Subramanian.
