70-year-old hiker found alive after a week missing on island
Craig Berg, 70, was found alive on Isle Royale after going missing September 5, according to the US Coast Guard. Michigan State Police troopers and K-9 units located Berg, who was reportedly injured and hypothermic, before a Coast Guard helicopter hoisted him to safety.
