Israel’s culture minister has called for two Israeli directors behind an award-winning documentary about Gaza to be stripped of their citizenship. Accusing them of “treason against the state,” Miki Zohar said they were willing to harm Israel to win applause abroad. The 80-minute film NAZA recently won a special jury prize at the Venice Film Festival.
