BRICS urges restraint in Mideast conflict but avoids Ukraine | DW News


Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are among the world leaders gathered in the Indian capital, New Delhi. The eleven members — which also include host nation India, Brazil and Iran — released a joint statement calling for “maximum restraint” in the Middle East as the conflict widens.
