Rep. Kiley Challenges Party Control in Congress


Joining Bloomberg This Weekend, Independent California Rep. Kevin Kiley is calling for House rules to guarantee committee assignments for lawmakers who don’t belong to either major party, after his own assignments were temporarily vacated when he left the Republican Conference. Kiley also criticizes mid-decade gerrymandering and said he supports mail voting while arguing that nationwide election policy should be set by Congress rather than executive order.
