Donald Trump’s push to restrict mail-in voting just months before the midterm elections isn’t just politically consequential, it’s logistically infeasible. This week, a federal whistleblower exposed the USPS’ new “rushed, chaotic, and fundamentally flawed” ballot portal, a project reminiscent of previous federal tech implementation shortfallings. “The question is, is it malevolence, or is it incompetence?” said David Kligerman, the attorney representing the whistleblower.
