Trumps takes mail ballot case to Supreme Court
The Trump administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to lift a block on a plan to restrict mail-in voting, just a day before the first ballots are set to go out for this year’s midterms.
Under the president’s executive order, the Postal Service could refuse to deliver certain ballots and force states to submit lists of eligible voters to an online portal.
A federal judge in Boston had paused the order last week.
