Retired general warns US military ‘weaker’ under Hegseth than pre-9/11
A top Army General warns that the Secretary of Defense is a “clear and present danger” to national security, pointing to the purge of over 20 senior officers and dozens of blocked general promotions. Retired Major General Randy Manner tells Erin Burnett the military command structure is dangerously hollowed out and “weaker” than it was prior to 9/11, saying the Secretary “has got to go” because his actions are putting service members in harm’s way.
