Votes are counted during a local UK by-election in the seaside resort of Clacton to determine whether Reform UK leader Nigel Farage returns to parliament. Farage’s main challenger is comedian Jonathan Harvey, who’s dressed as a trash can and better known as Count Binface, in a test of Farage’s brand of populist politics.
