Heat-resistant blooms form Brussels flower carpet display
Brussels unveiled its 24th Flower Carpet display in the historic Grand Place, using dahlias to withstand the high temperatures in Europe this week. The blooms, originally from the Mexican highlands, are ‘very heat resistant,’ the organizer said.
