White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt to leave role
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt says she will soon leave her job to spend more time with her family.
At 28 years old, Leavitt is the youngest person ever to hold that position.
She just recently returned to work after taking a brief leave for the birth of her second child in May.
Announcing the news, President Donald Trump called Leavitt one of his most trusted aides and added that she would continue to serve as an outside adviser.
Leavitt will depart at the end of this month.
